New York City is the most exciting city in the world. What better place to explore and celebrate love and romance? It always makes me smile to come across a happy couple when I’m wandering. In celebration of Valentine’s Day, here are some of my favorite photos of romance in Manhattan.
Love in the Park
What is more romantic than this?
A bonding moment (and I love her outfit!)
Love on Wheels
“So, it’s like this…”
I just love this photo so much. How trusting she is as they zoom up the street!
Celebrating Love in NYC
I came across this couple while walking under the Municipal Building. They are just glowing!
These two were celebrating a big moment on 5th Avenue at E. 52nd Street, aka Place de Cartier.
Love in the Square
Just happy to be together.

Swept off his feet at a Hugging Spot by Felix Morelo in Washington Square Park.
Love with a Meal
Love with a meal – and a pigeon.
Look at the way he gazes into her eyes…
Love in a Crowd
Who could resist photos on Pell Street in Chinatown? Not me!
Love on the Go
This made me happy. Taken under the Williamsburg Bridge.
They are together.
And they were smiling.
IT’S JUST LOVE
Tender Love
A dreamy moment in Battery Park
There’s something about the way she’s gazing off into the distance…you can see that she is strong for him.
Even pigeons can share a tender moment.
The One that Got Away
My heart goes out to this fellow whenever I look at this photo. Did his date ever show? I’ll never know. I like to think so.
Look, can you see it? High up, beyond NY by Gehry, and over the Woolworth Building is a heart, sailing away.
Say Yes to Love
If you’re alone like me this Valentines Day, don’t be sad. Every person (and critter) we meet is an opportunity to show kindness to a fellow traveler on this spinning rock.
