Fifth Avenue NYC 2025

Fifth Avenue View is Changed Forever

Back in March I did a post on current construction in Manhattan (see it here). I wrote about how the new, supertall 262 Fifth Ave was causing some grumbling, as it blocks the view of the Empire State Building from the south.

I was at the Flatiron Building this week, taking a break in the plaza. Looking up Fifth Avenue I could not see the Empire State Building. It’s as if it weren’t even there!

  1. You really captured the essence of just how the view has changed… wow…
It’s a shame, but construction is everchanging. Beautiful pictures
