It’s Fleet Week 2023 in NYC, and I was lucky enough to catch a couple of glimpses of the Sailors in their dress whites. We have three U.S. Navy ships, two U.S. Coast guard vessels and, four U.S. Naval Academy (USNA) Yard Patrol boats (YPs) docked in NYC. Almost 2,400 unformed personnel are participating.
I saw these men visiting Pier 17 at South Street Seaport. I wish I had hopped on a tour of one of the ships! They will be here until 05/30/2023.
