More than 200 unions and groups marched up Fifth Avenue for the 2023 Labor Day Parade. It was a steamy day, but luckily the storm held off until the very end! Scroll on to see photos and videos of NYC families marching in solidarity for fair wages.
I can take a decent photo, but my videography skills leave much to be desired. It’s worth watching though to see the little guy at the end.
The camera over 5th Ave. Must be nice to have a crane at your disposal to take photos from! 5th Ave at 58th Street.
These guys were a hoot, they really hammed it up for the camera over 5th Ave.
Drone over 5th Avenue. This doesn’t look like one of the NYPD ones, but I had seen that they planned to use drones to monitor the Labor Day celebrations. Article here.

Thunder was rumbling by the time the last of the parade passed me, and it wasn’t very long before the rain came. It was fun to walk down the middle 5th Ave before the police reopened the streets.
